dilema?

i only really want to spen about 600 bucks for my set up so... i have an sd630 and the cannon housing plus an inon2000 strobe is in my price range is this a good way to go?

the Inon rocks....so you are good there.

Does the SD630 have manual mode? IMHO this is very important for underwater use.

its got some manual features like fstop shutter speed iso and some color balance but i can always do touch up with ps

Inon makes a great strobe - D2000 is a great starter strobe. SS YS90 are also OK, but quite a bit bigger - I wouldn't get the YS 27, you'll quickly outgrow it.
