Kauai charters

I'm going to Hawaii next month and was wondering if anyone had any experience or opinions about local dive ops?

The one I keep seeing is Seasport Divers (http://seasportdivers.com). Anyone have any experience with them?

I hear Sea Sport is good. We used Bubbles Bellow, and they were AWESOME. Linda Marsh is the owner, and she and her crew did a fabulous job of showing us all the Kauai had to offer.

Good luck!

Did you shore dive or boat dive?

All 12 dives from boats, although there is decent shore diving out of Poipu. Most charters running out of the Southern end of the island. Wanted to dive the Northern Napali Coast, but opted for a trip to Ni'Ihau.

If you go to Kauai, you gotta go during the spring/summer months. That way you can catch a charter out to Ni'Ihau. It's a remote island about 33 miles NW of Kauai with epic diving with omega viz. Tons of pelagics come through. We saw a bait ball being torn to pieces by tuna and blacktips. Ran into threshers, white tips, spinner dolphins and pilot whales. Even saw a humpback breaching in the distance. AWESOME!

You headed out there?
